Summer Bash 2009

We had a fun-filled day at Kirtland's annual Summer Bash. Jonathan, Jacob and Angel worked all day at the Boy Scout booth. The scouts constructed a monkey bridge for kids to walk across.

One of the funniest parts of the day was when Jacob did a little sumo wrestling. We discovered an untapped talent! The boy was good as you can see in the photo! Those are Jacob's feet dangling in the air!

During a break from the scout booth, Jacob participated in and won a Radio Disney contest.

The Air Force's newest recruiting strategy - the Air Force Monster truck - visited Kirtland! You can see how big the tires are with Jacob and Jonathan sitting inside hub caps!

David's New Office

David began his new position as Wing Chaplain this week. The whole family joined in to help him move his office.

We filled all these book cases with books! I'm sure that is no surprise to those who know David!

Trip to Georgia and North Carolina

Jonathan, Jacob and Angel were blessed with the opportunity to travel to Georgia and North Carolina to see our family and friends. Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures in Georgia. Angel didn't have her camera (long, painful story) until North Carolina.
My sweet brothers and me!

Great family photo! The best part of the trip for Jonathan was discovering that he is finally taller than his Grammy!

NC Visit

Jonathan, Jacob and Angel spent an afternoon visiting Tom and Marian on the ranch. We forgot to take a picture of us with Tom and Marian! However, we did snap a beautiful picture of some horses on the ranch.
No visit to NC would be complete without a gathering of Andrea, Janna, Cheryl and Angel. It was great to see my friends again. I love you guys!

STAR BASE STEM Camp

Jonathan and Jacob were fortunate to attend a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Camp on Kirtland. It was a week full of rockets, flight simulators, experiments and so much more.
