We celebrated David's promotion to Lt Col on Tuesday. The day began with almost blizzard-like conditions. Even though the base was officially closed at Noon, David's ceremony happened at 2pm. There is always something exciting when a Mansberger has an event!Jacob gave the invocation and Jonathan read Scripture. David's dad and brother pinned on his new rank on his shirt. Jonathan, Jacob and Angel took care of his jacket. It was a day to celebrate David's accomplishments. With Mom heavy on Angel's heart, she declared the day a "No Cry Day."
